LBRY 976 Medical Informatics: Microcomputer Basic and Applications (2). Students will learn a minimal competency in application of microcomputer skills to medical informatics. Skills developed will be used to produce a topical medical report under the guidance of the course faculty and an approved clinical faculty member. The student will be introduced to word processing, database development, spreadsheets, telecommunications, web-based resources including electronic journals, textbooks, and databases and electronic searches, and their integration and application to medical sciences.
